This visa category was introduced in November 2019. With this visa, you can move to Australia to live, work and study in any designated regional area for up to 5 years. To apply for visa subclass 491, you don’t need a job offer from an employer in Australia, but you must have a sponsorship from a family member or relative who is living in any regional area in Australia or get nominated by any Australian state or territory government.
