Find your eligibility
To begin with, you must find your eligibility to qualify for any one of three programs managed under Express Entry by understanding the key requirements for each program and then taking a free profile assessment to choose the most suitable one.
Gather required documents
Gathering the supporting documents well in-advance is one of the key steps. You need approved language test result, identity and birth proof, educational and work experience documents, etc.
You need these documents to qualify to enter the Express Entry pool of candidates by meeting minimum eligibility criteria.
Submit an Express Entry profile
Once you create an EE profile and submit the information about yourself to the IRCC (Immigration, Refugee, Citizenship Canada), the IRCC will accept you into the pool, where you will be assessed based on different factors. After detailed profile evaluation, the IRCC award a score out of 1200 and a rank to each and every profile using an efficient points-based selections system, called Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

Step 4: Receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian PR
If you are placed among highest ranking applicants in the Express Entry pool, the IRCC will issue an ITA to you in an upcoming EE invitation round. with an ITA, you qualify to submit your final and complete eAPR, i.e. electronic Application for Permanent Residence along with required Canada PR documents and application within 60 days from obtaining your invitation.
