Here are the steps you need to take for an Australia Tourist Visa application:

From the glazing blue waters of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef to outback white and red sands, Australia is a beautiful country with a few most beautiful places in the world.

Known as a land of dreams, world travellers often describe Australia as a dream destination. Being the smallest continent and most significant island globally, Australia is home to a few unusual wildlife on planet earth.

All this and more make it worth visiting! However, an individual who desires to explore Australia as a tourist must get official permission from the Australian embassy and get an Australia Tourist Visa to visit the country.

Disclaimer:- With effect from February 21, 2022, all fully vaccinated visa holders can travel to Australia for international travel purposes without a travel exemption. However, unvaccinated visa holders must fall under an exemption or have an individual travel exemption to visit Australia.

With an Australia Tourist Visa Subclass 600, an applicant can visit Australia temporarily for 3, 6 or 12 months:

  • As a tourist
  • To spend a vacation with family or friends
  • To go on a cruise
  • For a business purpose

However, tourist visa Australia duration for Indian nationals or from any part of the world is specified on the visa grant letter. The DHA determines the stay length on a case by case basis. The authorities consider the stay period based on why and how long an applicant wants to stay.

Additionally, as a visitor visa subclass 600 holder, a person can also train or study for 3 months. But, if the key reason behind travelling to Australia is to pursue a study program, then the most appropriate option would be an Australia student visa.

Australia Tourist Visa or Visitor Visa (Subclass) 600 Streams

While, for translators outside Australia, each translation must include a translator’s full name, address, contact information, experience and qualifications in the language they have translated the document.

Also, you must get all the documents photographed or scanned in color.

In the case of a paper application, translation is again mandatory, and you must send the originals.

Step 4- Apply for your Visa

For applying online, you must:

  • Create an Immi Account
  • Attach all the documents
  • Submit your family application along with yours
  • Pay the required application fee, without which your application will not be processed

Step 5- After you apply

Upon submission, the DHA will let you know whether they have received the application and the documents and fee.

Step 6- Visa outcome

Once the final decision is taken on your Australia Tourist visa, the DHA will inform you in writing and the visa grant number, date your visa starts and your specific visa conditions on approval. It is recommended to keep a decision copy with you while in Australia.

To conclude, it is crucial to decide your visit purpose and choose a tourist visa stream accordingly. Any applicant can better proceed with the process if they know precisely the requirement and which path is ideal to step forward.

Applying for a job in Australia can be pretty exciting yet tiresome if you are unaware of the proper process and procedure.

There are three different ways to secure a job in Australia from India and work with talented professionals from other nations, cultures, backgrounds, and more.

In this article, we’ll discuss the most straightforward way to get a job in Australia, i.e., applying for an Australian PR visa, which allows you to live and work anywhere in Australia.

Get your Permanent Residence Visa

Find your eligibility for a point-tested Skilled Visa Subclass:  The most popular visa subclasses via which you can apply for an Australian PR are managed under GSM System, i.e., the General Skilled Migration system.

  • Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189: It is a Permanent visa; there is no need for sponsorship by a family member or a nomination by a state/territory government.
  • Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190: It is also a permanent visa type and requires you to have a nomination by any State or Territory government of Australia or sponsorship from a relative living in regional Australia as a permanent resident or citizen.

Complete your EOI through SkillSelect: By creating your EOI or Expression of Interest profile, you can get the attention of the Australian government and employers, who may go through your visa application and have a glance at your profile. If an employer or government agency finds your skills, education and abilities appropriate, then they may nominate you for a work visa of your choice.

Meet the health and English language criteria: Before applying for a work visa, you must undergo a medical examination and provide the report. Similarly, you must demonstrate your English language proficiency. For this, you may take up English language coaching from a reputed consultancy firm in India and improve your overall score.

Verify your educational qualifications: You must prove that your academic documents are at par with the Australian standards. For this, you have to undergo a qualification assessment done by a relevant professional body.

If your qualifications are equivalent to Australian standards, your chances of applying and getting a job in Australia become much more accessible.

Migrate to Australia as a Skilled Worker 2022

Australia is among the most popular immigration destinations for foreign skilled professionals and workers. The reason behind immense popularity is that Australia gives them a better quality of life and tremendous employment opportunities.

The General Skilled Migration (GSM) Program offers them an ideal pathway to Australian immigration. The program is designed to welcome highly skilled immigrants who can significantly contribute to improving the Australian economy’s productive capacity and help the nation meet labour shortages.

Many skilled foreign nationals in the Australian workforce help the country stimulate its economic growth by further supporting job production. The majority of the visa places are under the Skill stream, making it approximately 69.5% of the entire GSM program.

What are the key reasons behind Australia PR visa rejection?

by By Rajneesh Kumar

Posted on November 17, 2021

Top five reasons for rejection/refusal of Australia PR Visa

If you are afraid about your Australia PR visa rejection then this article is for you.

We know how it feels when a visa application gets rejected, and the time, money, and effort you have invested goes in vain. With the Australian Government carefully scrutinizing every PR visa application by adopting a much-tougher approach, applying for PR visa approvals with lesser knowledge and understanding can land you in trouble.

Thus, we always recommend that all aspiring immigrants keep the key points in mind before going ahead with their Australia PR process to avoid unwanted application processing delays and visa refusals at an initial stage.

Top 5 reasons for rejection of Australia PR Visa:

Selecting the wrong visa type- This is one of the most common reasons. With more than 140 visas subclasses, which comes with their unique selection requirements, conditions, and process, an applicant may apply for a visa type that doesn’t suit their profile. However, consulting a trained immigration advisor can help them better understand the requirements and choose the appropriate visa type through a detailed profile evaluation.

Violating previous visa conditions- You may disqualify for a PR Visa in Australia if you failed to meet your last temporary visa (if any). In addition, the authorities can reject your visa application if you are misusing the privileges of an Australian PR visa.

Incompleteness or inaccuracy- Your visa application may get rejected if you provide any misleading or incomplete information.  To avoid such a scenario, you must double-check your application before submission.  Always ensure that you provide all the required information, documents and proofs as asked by the DHA.

Failure to meet Australia’s health and character requirements- You can face an application rejection on the grounds of any health ailment. For example, suppose the health issues could be a financial burden on Australia’s medical system, like HIV, heart conditions, mental health issues or cancer, then DHA may refuse your visa application.

Australia also follows a zero-tolerance policy towards criminals. Applications are examined individually, and the application can get rejected if an applicant has a past criminal record, history of harassment or association with any criminal organization.

Lack of enough proof of funds- Before entering Australia as a PR visa holder, the DHA ensures that all applicants have enough funds to support their accompanying family members’ stay financially. So, you must provide proof of your available funds and supporting documents to avoid application rejection at the initial stage.

We hope you find the information relevant and can help you make a better decision for better outcomes. To apply for Australia PR this year, you may connect with our team of visa and immigration consultants at Toll-Free No. 78-18-000-777.
