In 2019 several Canadian Provincial Nominee Programs are launching frequent draws to issue Invitation to Apply for a provincial nomination tothe applicants with an increased target for the year. The Canadian government plans to invite nearly one million immigrants in the next three years and the significant number of candidates among these will be through a provincial nomination. The provincial nominee programs of Canadahave a combined target of 255,100 over the next 3 years, which accounts for nearly 19 percent of the total immigration target of the maple leaf country.

In the month of June 2019, quite a few PNPs have been active.

Saskatchewan

Recently, Saskatchewan launched its EOI (Expression of Interest) based draw 20thJune 2019 to invite 479 candidates to apply for provincial nomination under its Occupation in Demand and Express Entry Subcategories, with minimum point score requirement of 68 points.

Prince Edward Island

On 20thJune only, Prince Edward Island opened its draw to invite 113 candidates under its Business Work Permit Entrepreneur stream and Labour & Express Entry category. The point score requirement was declared for the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur stream only, i.e. 112 points.

British Columbia

British Columbia also opened its PNP draw on 18thJune 2019 to issue 270 invitations under its following streams, i.e.

  • Skills Immigration: Skilled Worker (Minimum Score 95)
  • Skills Immigration: International Graduate (Minimum Score 100)
  • Skills Immigration: Entry Level and Semi-Skilled (Minimum Score 75)
  • Express Entry BC: Skilled Worker (Minimum Score 105)
  • Express Entry BC: International Graduate (Minimum Score 104)

Manitoba

Manitoba opened EOI based draw of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program on 7th June to invite 209 candidates under different streams.

Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia invited 312 candidates under different streams in its latest draw opened on 3rd June 2019.

Alberta

As per the latest update from Alberta province of Canada, it opened its latest draw on 15th May 2019 to invite 197 candidates with CRS score of just 301 CRS points. Alberta is one of the best PNPs to apply for Canada PR nomination with such low points requirement by the province.Alberta has invited whipping 3,554 candidates this year till datewith quite low CRS score requirement.
