Latest Changes and Implementations with regard to QSWP Program
There are two significant changes or implementation has been made to the QSWP Program with regard to the area of training and introduction of the new application management system. Let’s find the key details about the both changes.
Alteration in the ‘Area of Training’ criteria of QSWP
As we already know that QSWP is a point based immigration program of Quebec province in Canada, wherein the applicants are being allocated the marks based on their profile details, i.e. Area of Training, Education, Age, Work Experience, etc.
The key change has been made to the criteria of ‘Area of Training’ for which, an applicant can get up to 16 points. As per the earlier regulation, the candidate who acquired a diploma, certificate, degree, etc. in a particular ‘Area of Training’, five years back, also needed to show the relevant work experience in the same field to get the point for the same. However, as per the recent changes made to this rule, the candidates will get marks for their ‘Area of Training’ certificate, diploma, degree, etc. irrespective of the fact, when it was obtained; however, it has to be acquired before the application for QSWP is submitted.
New Immigration Application Management System- Mon project Québec launched for online QSWP processing
The Mon projet Québec is the latest Immigration Application Management System launched on 5th January, 2016 by Quebec province, for the upcoming QSWP online cycle. It facilitates the candidates to submit the application for CSQ. It also allows the candidates to make online payments, edit the application, and access the electronic messaging and also to follow up the status of the application online.
As soon as candidate access the system and create a user name and password, it sends a link on the candidates email id that needs to be activated within 72 hours. Once you have begun to submit an application you need to complete it within 90 days else it gets deleted. Likewise, if you don’t pay the processing fee of application within 30 days after starting the application, it will get deleted.
