After 457 Visa Debacle, Pathways are open again for Australia Immigration and PR

If you are an aspirant of Australia Immigration, who got disappointed seeing strict Australia immigration policies couple of months back, here is the good news for you. Australia is once again inviting the highly skilled and talented skilled worker from overseas to apply for nomination as well as PR visa in Australia. This news will hopefully bring the smile back on the faces of thousands of Australian visa aspirants across the world. Lets take a look at Australia shocked and saddened most of the Aussie Visa aspirants through its immigration announcements in April 2017. (Note: With effect from April 19, 2017, Australian Government has replaced the old Occupation lists, i.e. SOL & CSOL with new Skilled Occupation lists, i.e. Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) & Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL). The visa applicants, eligible to nominate an occupation from STSOL, also have access to some occupations in MLTSSL. Hence, both the lists (STSOL & MLTSSL) have been combined to form a new Combined List of Eligible Skilled Occupations and hence, there is no separate STSOL list.)

Awful April for Australian Visa Aspirants Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull made some unanticipated announcements on April 19, 2017, including the abolition of popular 457-visa program, which used to allow the temporary foreign workers to get the work permit in Australia for up to four years. Australias Skilled Occupation lists were also modified and renamed with the reduction of about 200 occupations. Such announcements and implementations from Aussie government deeply sadden some of Australia immigration aspirants. And they became circumspect about their plans to move Australia and get permanent residency thereafter. Good news again for the Aussie Visa Aspirants However, the situation of uncertainty wasnt to continue for long, as Australia once again indicated its long terms plans to invite skilled and talented immigrants in the country on temporary and permanent visas. Australian federal and state governments have launched Central Skilled occupation lists, i.e. Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) and Short-term Skilled Occupation List(STSOL), along with several other State occupation lists, i.e. SNOL, WASMOL, etc. to invite the nomination applications from foreign skilled workers.
